1.  Certifications Manager  (Application deadline: Dec. 1)

Director of Assurance

Purpose:

Work with the Director of Assurance to manage the efficiency and effectiveness of ASI Certification workflows, support the integrity and impartiality of assurance processes, and contribute to continual improvement of the ASI program.

Salary:

A competitive package in the order of AUD 125,000 / 75,000 Euro (taking into account experience, location, and benefits required by law in the candidate’s location, such as pension and leave allowances).

Overview:

This is a newly created role working with ASI Members and Accredited Auditors to support and oversee ASI Certification processes, including through our online assurance platform ‘elementAl’ (short for ‘element Aluminium’).   We are seeking an experienced manager with a background in assurance or compliance programs.

Location:

Home office, preferably based in Australia or the Netherlands.

All current members of the ASI Secretariat work from a home office in various countries (Australia, Canada, China, Germany, Netherlands), collaborating as a virtual team with periodic in-person meetings.

2.  Database Development and Support – Knack  (Application deadline: Dec. 1)

elementAl Manager

Purpose:

Work with the elementAl Manager on backend development and user management in ASI’s custom database and website interface for the ASI Certification process, supporting workflows, data integrity, accessibility to program metrics and continual improvement of the platform for all users.

Salary:

A competitive package in the order of AUD 75,000 / 45,000 Euro (taking into account experience, location, and benefits required by law in the candidate’s location, such as pension and leave allowances).

Overview:

This is a newly created role working on our internally built and managed online assurance platform for managing the ASI Certification process.  Our assurance platform is called ‘elementAl’ (short for ‘element Aluminium’) and is built on the Knack database platform.   We are seeking an early or mid-career IT professional with backend database experience to engage with a growing global user base of company representatives and independent auditors, and support platform enhancements through ongoing build projects.

Location:

Home office, preferably based in Australia or the Netherlands.

3.  Administration Support  (Application deadline: Dec. 8)

Permanent and part time – 3 days per week

Administration Manager

Purpose:

Work with the Administration Manager on routine activities, including support for processing membership applications, invoicing, records management, responding to inquiries, and general administration tasks.

Salary:

A package in the order of AUD 60,000/ 36,000 Euro per annum (pro rata – 3 days a week). Taking into account experience, location, and benefits required by law in the candidate’s location, such as pension and leave allowances).

Overview:

This is a newly created role to support the administration of ASI’s growing program on sustainability and aluminium. We are seeking someone with prior administration experience who brings attention to detail and a collaborative approach for a part-time role working with a globally distributed team.

Location:

Home office, preferably based in the Netherlands.
