ASI is proud to welcome Sapa as its latest Production and Transformation member.
Sapa develops, manufactures, and markets value-added profiles, profile-based building systems, and tubing solutions for automotive and heating, ventilation, air conditioning & refrigeration(HVAC&R) applications in lightweight aluminium. Our leading position is maintained through our unique combination of local expertise, a global network, and R&D capabilities.
Our business concept is based on close cooperation with our customers, who are primarily located in Europe, North America, South America, and Asia. We provide extruded aluminium solutions for practically any application. Our largest customer segments are the automotive, building, engineering, and transport industries as well as residential and office interiors. We are shaping a lighter future through global reach and local presence. The group is organized into three core areas: Extrusions, Building Systems, and Precision Tubing. Sapa is a 50/50 joint venture owned by Orkla ASA and Hydro ASA.
Our overall goal is to deliver profitable growth through good organic development complemented by strategic acquisitions of companies and alliances that further strengthen our market positions.
