ASI certifies Cevher Jant A.Ş. against Performance Standard
Cevher Jant A.Ş. has achieved ASI Performance Standard V2 (2017) Certification with a focus on Material Stewardship for the production of automobile wheels at two facilities located in Izmir, Turkey.

Cevher Jant A.Ş. has achieved ASI Performance Standard V2 (2017) Certification with a focus on Material Stewardship for the production of automobile wheels at two facilities located in Izmir, Turkey. The Cevher company has an annual wheel production capacity of two million aluminium alloy wheels.
Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) today announced that Cevher Jant A.Ş. (CEVHER) has been certified against the Performance Standard (V2) 2017 at its automobile wheel production facilities in Izmir, Turkey. CEVHER is a co-design partner with automotive OEMs, and brings the in-house capacity to design, develop, manufacture, and validate the wheels produced.
The ASI Certification program was developed through an extensive multi-stakeholder consultation process and is the only comprehensive voluntary sustainability standard initiative for the aluminium value chain. ASI Performance Standard certifications focusing on ‘material stewardship’ address issues such as product design, life cycle assessments, management of process scrap and collection and recycling of products at end-of-life.
The independent, third-party audit of the Cevher Jant A.Ş. facilities was carried out by Libero Assurance.
