ASI certifies Aluminij Industries d.o.o. against Performance Standard V3
Aluminij Industries d.o.o. has achieved ASI Performance Standard V3 (2022) Certification for the production of foundry aluminium alloys in the form of billets, slabs and small ingots at its foundry in Mostar, Bosnia.

Aluminij Industries d.o.o. has achieved ASI Performance Standard V3 (2022) Certification for the production of foundry aluminium alloys in the form of billets, slabs and small ingots at its foundry in Mostar, Bosnia. The company is the first in Bosnia and Herzegovina to achieve ASI Certification.Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) today announced that Aluminij Industries d.o.o. has been certified against the ASI Performance Standard V3 (2022) for the development, sales, and production of billets, blocks and small ingots at its foundry in Mostar, Bosnia. The company produces a wide range of foundry aluminium alloys using recycled aluminium, primary aluminium and pre-alloys. With an annual production capacity exceeding 200,000 tonnes of aluminium products, Aluminij is Bosnia and Herzegovina’s largest importer and exporter.
The ASI Certification program was developed through an extensive multi-stakeholder consultation process and is the only comprehensive voluntary sustainability standard initiative for the aluminium value chain. The ASI Performance Standard V3 (2022) was launched in May 2022 following a multi-year revision process. It defines 11 principles and 62 criteria under three sustainability pillars – Environment, Social, and Governance – with the aim to address pressing sustainability issues in the aluminium value chain, such as biodiversity, Indigenous Peoples rights, circularity, and greenhouse gas emissions.
The independent, third-party audit of the Aluminij Industries d.o.o. facility was carried out by Bureau Veritas Certification.
