About Grupo ReciclaBR Latasa Metais Ltda
Grupo ReciclaBR is the largest non-ferrous metals recycling group in Brazil formed in 2013 by the merger of several companies. It operates throughout the brazilian territory through a network of partners, promoting the collection and recycling of aluminum and other non-ferrous metals, contributing significantly to the preservation of the environment and social development.
We operate across the entire non-ferrous metals chain through Latasa Reciclagem, which stands out for being the largest aluminum recycling company in Brazil and the pioneer in implementing the integrated system for collecting and casting scrap aluminum cans since 1991, and Latasa Garimpeiro Urbano, which collects non-ferrous metals with collection centers in 16 states across the country. In 2023, the group have its headquarters, located in São Paulo (SP), 24 collection centers, 3 industrial plants and a materials warehouse.
Latasa Reciclagem, through the Latasa Metais industrial plant, seeks ASI certification as part of our ESG journey in addition to aligning our practices with the requirements of customers and other stakeholders.
Our ASI membership is part of the transformation journey initiated by the shareholders and led by me from 2022.
The market is increasingly demanding sustainable solutions and our products, in addition to meeting this requirement, generate shared value. Now we want to be part of the ASI community and improve our maturity in ESG aspects broadly across our business.
