On 17 February 2026, ASI will open the first round of public consultation on the draft revised Performance Standard and Chain of Custody Standard. The consultation drafts will be available to download from the Standards Revision hub with full details of how to provide your input. What are we consulting on and why?
As a code compliant member of ISEAL, ASI commits to review its standards at least every five years. As part of this commitment, in March 2025 ASI launched a full revision of the Performance Standard and Chain of Custody Standard. Since then, we have been developing revised standards, with the ASI Standards Committee, Working Groups and our diverse set of stakeholders. On 17 February 2026, the draft standards will be published and members of the public will be invited to feed in their views. The consultation will be open until 20 April 2026 after which, the feedback will be considered and discussed with the Standards Committee and Working Groups. We anticipate holding a second round of public consultation in early 2027, with a final release expected in late 2027.
More information about the ASI Standards and the revision process can be found on the ASI Standards Revision Hub.
