Aluminium Stewardship Initiative certifies Yunnan YunLv Yongxin Aluminium Co., Ltd. against ASI Performance Standard
The main products include electrolytic aluminium liquid, remelting aluminium ingot, casting aluminium alloy, and aluminium bar.

Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) today announced that Yunnan YunLv Yongxin Aluminium Co., Ltd. has been successfully certified against the ASI Performance Standard for responsible production, sourcing and stewardship of aluminium at their smelting and casting operations. The facility has an annual production capacity of 300,000 tonnes of primary aluminium based on hydro power.
The ASI Certification program was developed through an extensive multi-stakeholder consultation process and is the only comprehensive voluntary sustainability standard initiative for the aluminium value chain. The ASI Performance Standard defines environmental, social and governance principles and criteria, with the aim to address sustainability issues in the aluminium value chain. It sets out 59 criteria under the three sustainability pillars of Governance, Environment and Social, which address key issues such as biodiversity, Indigenous Peoples rights, and greenhouse gas emissions.
The independent, third-party audit of the Yunnan YunLv Yongxin Aluminium Co., Ltd. facility was carried out by SGS-CSTC Standards Technical Services.

We are pleased to see this latest operation also achieve Certification, in addition to the recent ASI Certification of the company’s joint-venture, Yunnan Yongshun, and is a demonstration of the company’s firm commitment to responsible production of aluminium.”
