ASI certifies YINBANG CLAD MATERIAL CO., LTD. against Performance Standard
The facility has an annual output of more than 300,000 tonnes of aluminium alloy composite materials.

Yinbang Clad Material Co., Ltd. has achieved ASI Performance Standard V2 (2017) Certification for its manufacturing facility in Wuxi, China. The facility has an annual output of more than 300,000 tonnes of aluminium alloy composite materials.Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) today announced that Yinbang Clad Material Co., Ltd. has been certified against the ASI Performance Standard for the manufacture of aluminium and aluminium alloy sheets, strips and foils, aluminium alloy clad sheets, strips and foils, and aluminium based multi-metal clad materials at its facility in Wuxi, China. The company’s products cater to industries such as automotive, industrial machinery, air cooling in power stations, rail transit, household appliances, aerospace, cellphone manufacturing, and shipping.
The ASI Certification program was developed through an extensive multi-stakeholder consultation process and is the only comprehensive voluntary sustainability standard initiative for the aluminium value chain. The ASI Performance Standard V2 (2017) defines environmental, social and governance principles and criteria, with the aim to address sustainability issues in the aluminium value chain. It sets out 59 criteria under the three sustainability pillars of Environment, Social, and Governance, which address key issues such as biodiversity, labour rights, Indigenous Peoples rights, and greenhouse gas emissions.
The independent, third-party audit of the Yinbang Clad Material Co., Ltd. facility was carried out by SGS-CSTC Standards Technical Services. The audit took place prior to May 31, 2023, thus enabling a Performance Standard V2 certification.
