Our portfolio includes specialty packaging films as well as high- and ultra-high-barrier pharmaceutical-grade films designed to ensure product safety, stability, and regulatory compliance. Our interest in the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) and the broader aluminium value chain stems from our commitment to responsible sourcing, sustainable manufacturing, and circularity. Aluminium plays a critical role in pharmaceutical packaging due to its superior barrier properties and recyclability. By engaging with ASI, we aim to strengthen transparency, enhance traceability across the value chain, and align with globally recognized environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards. Participation in ASI will support our efforts to reduce carbon intensity, promote responsible procurement of aluminium, and collaborate with upstream and downstream partners to drive sustainable innovation. We view this as a strategic step toward reinforcing our sustainability commitments while delivering high-performance, responsible packaging solutions to the pharma sector.
Sustainability remains at the core of how we design, develop, and deliver packaging solutions. We are actively developing a portfolio of sustainable packaging materials that are recyclable, halogen-free, compostable, and biodegradable that offers both quality and safety. In parallel, we are planning to join the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) to further strengthen responsible sourcing practices, enhance transparency and traceability across the aluminium value chain, and align with globally recognized sustainability standards. Through ASI membership, we aim to collaborate more closely with upstream and downstream partners, reduce environmental impacts, and reinforce our commitment to responsible, low-carbon aluminium solutions that support our customers’ sustainability ambitions.
