ASI Welcomes ALUCAM as a new Production and Transformation member
About ALUCAM
ALUCAM aluminium industrial plant operates in Edea and Douala in Cameroon and has been in business since 1957. ALUCAM employs 480 people and has an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons of aluminium. The Government of Cameroon holds 93.3% of its shares while the remaining are held by the French Development Agency (5.6%) and the Cameroon National Investment Company (S.N.I). By committing itself to the ASI standards, ALUCAM wants to meet customer expectations for good practices and enhance reputation, strengthen internal management systems on environmental, social and governance issues, share best practices and evidence of positive impact and become an important stakeholder in sustainable strategies.
