About Hydrova
Hydrova is an EPA-funded industry leader in zero-waste dross recycling. Spun out of MIT research in 2020, Hydrova’s patent-pending separations technology recovers valuable aluminum, salt, and oxide products from dross and salt cake while generating hydrogen for clean energy use on-site. In addition to winning grants from MIT and the EPA, Hydrova has raised funding from notable investors including 1517 Fund, Climate Capital, and the 776 Foundation. Hydrova’s innovative solutions help aluminum recyclers achieve their sustainability goals efficiently and profitably.
