PT Bintan Alumina Indonesia is located in the southeast of Bintan Island, Riau Islands Province, Indonesia, at the forefront of Singapore-Indonesia economic and trade cooperation, with obvious geo-economic advantages. The company plans to build an alumina project with an annual output of 4 million tons and supporting infrastructure such as ports, thermal power plants, gas stations, and reservoirs. Among them, the first 2 million tons of alumina production line was completed and put into production in October 2022, and is currently operating at full capacity. The construction of the second 2 million tons of alumina production line is being advanced as planned.The alumina project adopts the world’s advanced Bayer process production process, internationally advanced technology and equipment to produce high-quality metallurgical-grade sand-like alumina powder. The company always adheres to the concept of sustainable development, strives to promote industrial transformation and upgrading, and maintains high-quality and stable operation and development.
We are joining ASI to actively benchmark the internationally recognized sustainability standards of the aluminium industry chain, improve our ESG performance and enhance sustainability capabilities.
