Lightweight construction of cars is a core competence of Audi. We pioneered mass production with an Aluminum body for our top model already back in 1994. In order to gain efficiency and performance of our products at the same time, we use Aluminum in all our models. With our engagement in ASI, we want to foster sustainability along the entire value chain of Aluminum . We are highly interested in developing ASI to a reliable and worldwide accepted standard. Doing this together with internationally recognized representatives of civil society and partners from numerous different industries helps to achieve this goal.

Its business purpose is to manufacture and sell luxury sports cars and engines of all kinds as well as other parts and components for these and other technical products. Dr. Ing. h.c. F.
