Cromogenia Units S.A. is a company founded in 1942 commited to the development and manufacturing of a wide range of chemical specialties for many different industries around the globe. These 80 years of experience have led the company to reach clients in the five continents and to manufacture in several plants located in different countries: Spain, Argentina, Mexico, Brasil, India and China. Cromogenia Units also has sales subsidiaries in Portugal, Italy, Turkey, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, India, China, and the US. Cromogenia Units is devoted to the development of sustainable, eco-friendly products and processes throughout all the stages of the tanning process, from beamhouse to finishing. Products and processes that also meet the high-quality standards of the company. Within this line of research, Cromogenia Units has developed a new tanning process based on zeolite. This new process provides leather with higher biodegradability and no heavy metals, thus, contributing to sustainability.
