PyroGenesis Canada Inc. is a high-tech company that designs, develops, manufactures, and commercializes advanced plasma systems and sustainable solutions to reduce greenhouse gases and waste streams. Aluminum is thought of as the “green” metal of the future, a title that won’t be undisputedly claimed until the issues of emissions and hazardous waste associated with it are solved. With that objective in mind, PyroGenesis is working in a wide range of applications that include salt free aluminum recovery from dross (using its patented DROSRITE™ process), re-purposing of dross residues (post metal recovery), treatment of spent pot lining (SPL), and electrification of industry in the form of replacement of fossil-fuel burners by plasma torches.
