ASI certifies Grupa Kęty S.A. against Performance Standard
Grupa Kęty S.A. has achieved ASI Performance Standard V2 (2017) Certification for its foundry and extrusion plant for the production of billets and manufacturing of aluminium profiles and components at its production facilities in Kęty, Poland.

Grupa Kęty S.A. has achieved ASI Performance Standard V2 (2017) Certification for its foundry and extrusion plant for the production of billets and manufacturing of aluminium profiles and components at its production facilities in Kęty, Poland.Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) today announced that Grupa Kęty S.A. has been certified against the ASI Performance Standard at its facilities in Kęty, Poland. The company is the biggest Polish manufacturer of aluminium profiles and components with an annual production capacity of 90,000 tonnes per year. The foundry consisting of four lines can produce up to 50,000 tonnes of billets annually from a feedstock including aluminium scrap, which in 2022 amounted to 31,000 tonnes.
The ASI Certification program was developed through an extensive multi-stakeholder consultation process and is the only comprehensive voluntary sustainability standard initiative for the aluminium value chain. The ASI Performance Standard V2 (2017) defines environmental, social and governance principles and criteria, with the aim to address sustainability issues in the aluminium value chain. It sets out 59 criteria under the three sustainability pillars of Environment, Social, and Governance, which address key issues such as biodiversity, labour rights, Indigenous Peoples rights, and greenhouse gas emissions.
The independent, third-party audits of Grupa Kęty S.A. facility was carried out by TÜV Rheinland Cert GmbH.
