Chris Bayliss appointed as ASI Director of Standards
ASI is delighted to announce the appointment of Chris Bayliss as ASI Director of Standards, commencing 3 May 2021.
Chris brings a wealth of experience in the sustainability of the aluminium industry, research and analysis, and stakeholder engagement. He comes to ASI from a distinguished career at the International Aluminium Institute, where he played a leading role in a range of collaborative projects, including sector-wide emissions reduction pathways and GHG accounting protocols, occupational health performance measurement tools, the global aluminium material flow model and The Aluminium Story (www.thealuminiumstory.com). Chris holds Masters degrees from the Universities of Cambridge and London.
ASI sincerely thanks Krista West for her significant contributions as Director of Standards since September 2019. Krista will be moving to a Standards Advisor role in recognition of her desire to be half time or less from 2021. We are very pleased that Krista will be continuing as a valued member of the ASI team, and contributing her skills and experience in the Standards Revision process and beyond.
