ASI Members in the Production and Transformation and Industrial User classes are required to achieve ASI Certification for at least one facility within their membership scope within the first two years of joining. Failure to do so will result in the loss of their membership.

This requirement also applies to members who are due for recertification. If recertification deadlines are missed, their membership may be terminated.

Losing membership due to missed certification or recertification deadlines can be costly, as it leads to wasted membership fees and the deletion of the company’s membership and certification history from our records. Additionally, after termination, a one-year waiting period is enforced before the company can reapply.

To prevent this, members are strongly encouraged to stay on top of their deadlines and proactively communicate any challenges with the ASI Membership team. We are committed to supporting members throughout their (re)certification journey to help them meet their certification goals and continue benefiting from their ASI Membership.

If you have a fast-approaching deadline and you are concerned about your ability to meet it, send an email to the Membership team.
