Symetal produces aluminium foil products, mainly used in packaging solutions for the food, pharmaceutical and tobacco industries. The company is highly export-oriented, with 95% of sales realized in over 60 countries in Europe, US, Middle East, Africa and Far East. Symetal is an aluminium segment subsidiary of ElvalHalcor SA, a leading global industrial producer of aluminium and copper.
The company has 2 production facilities in Greece, at Oinofyta and Mandra. The Oinofyta rolling plant produces foil for various applications, including flexible and pharmaceutical packaging, food containers, household and technical applications. The Mandra converting plant carries out foil coating and/or paper lamination for products used for food and pharmaceutical packaging, and cigarette inner liners.
With 40 years’ experience in foil rolling and processing, Symetal offers tailor-made and sustainable foil solutions. Since its establishment in 1977, it increased its production facility size over 30 times.
