Operating since 1929, ALVANCE British Aluminium’s smelting facility is the last aluminium smelter in the UK. It is powered by hydro-electric power which makes the site one of the greenest metal production plants in the UK.

ALVANCE British Aluminium serves the national and international market with semi-finished aluminium, and its vision is to add value through the development of downstream manufacturing based on the liquid aluminium produced on site.

ALVANCE British Aluminium is part of the ALVANCE Aluminium group. Our core business philosophy is to produce aluminium in a sustainable way to support our employees and the community we operate in. We have a rich history dating back to 1929 and are looking forward to upholding this into the future by continuing to produce aluminium in a sustainable manner.
