About Transition Asia

Transition Asia is a Hong Kong-based non-profit think tank dedicated to accelerating industry and corporate decarbonisation.

Our research focuses on materials and heavy industry sectors in China, Japan and Southeast Asia and international operations, supply chains and customers.

To date, we have published over 50 analyses and reports on steel decarbonisation, covering corporate strategies, public policy , green steel economics, technology and sector-specific challenges. Starting in 2025, we will expand our scope to include aluminium , with a focus on the economics of green aluminium.

Through data-driven analysis, investor insights and strategic engagement, we work with corporate, finance, and policy stakeholders across the globe to achieve transformative change for a net-zero, resilient future.

Transition Asia joined ASI to reinforce our commitment to accelerate industry and corporate decarbonisation. Collaborating with ASI and its member community, we aim to provide stakeholders with comprehensive insights into green aluminium and its supply chain, driving decarbonisation progress across the sector.
