ASI certifies Chongqing Millison Technologies Inc. against Performance Standard V3
Chongqing Millison Technologies Inc. has achieved ASI Performance Standard V3 (2022) Certification for re-melting, casting and processing of aluminium for the manufacture of aluminium alloy parts at Chongqing Millison Technologies Inc. facilities in Banan District, Chongqing, China.

Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) today announced that Chongqing Millison Technologies Inc. has been certified against the ASI Performance Standard V3 (2022). The Entity’s main production processes include remelting (smelting), die-casting, cleaning/shot blasting, and machining, with a designed production capacity of 80,000 tonnes per annum. The company produces aluminium structural parts for modern mobile network base stations and traditional vehicle engine systems, transmission systems, steering systems and body systems, as well as electric drive systems and body systems of new energy vehicles.
The ASI Certification program was developed through an extensive multi-stakeholder consultation process and is the only comprehensive voluntary sustainability standard initiative for the aluminium value chain. The ASI Performance Standard V3 (2022) defines 11 principles and 62 criteria under three sustainability pillars – Environment, Social, and Governance – with the aim to address pressing sustainability issues in the aluminium value chain.
The independent, third-party audit of the Chongqing Millison Technologies Inc. facility was carried out by SGS-CSTC Standards Technical Services. A full listing of audit findings outlining evidence of conformances and minor non-conformances is available from page 5 of the summary audit report, linked below. Five minor non-conformances are noted under Criteria 5.1a-b Disclosure of GHG Emissions and Energy Use, 6.2a-g Discharges to Water, 7.1a-b Water Assessment and Disclosure, 10.8a-c Working Time, and 11.1a Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Management System. During the Certification Period, Chongqing Millison Technologies Inc. will be implementing a corrective action plan, which will be verified in follow-up audits.
