About Istanbul Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters Association
Istanbul Ferrous And Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters’ Association (İDDMİB) was founded in 1986 under the General Secretariat of the Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters Association (İMMİB).
İDDMİB is a professional non-profit association which deals with export promotion activities in ferrous and non-ferrous metals sector. İDDMİB was founded in 1986 and has 8.000 members as of 2022. Among the principle areas of business of İDDMİB are the goods made of steel, aluminium and copper, castings, hardware, metal kitchen and houseware, armature, construction materials.
Turkish Aluminium is the biggest sector within Turkish Ferrous And Non-Ferrous Metals sector which has 43% share at İDDMİB’s total export as of 2022. Turkish Aluminium created its own digital trade platform as www.turkishaluminium365.com.
Being a part of ASI is seen as a good opportunity to enable the Turkish Exporters move forward with the aim of reaching sector goals. The collaborations within the aluminium industry will allow focus on the sector. Membership enables both parts to be promoted. We would like to be a part of the value chain through collaboration with ASI.
