ASI certifies Golden Aluminum against ASI Performance Standard
Golden Aluminum has achieved ASI Performance Standard V2 (2017) Certification at its Fort Lupton, Colorado rolling facility.

Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) today announced that Golden Aluminum has been successfully certified against the ASI Performance Standard (2017) for its remelting/recycling, casting and rolling operations at Fort Lupton, Colorado.
The ASI Certification program was developed through an extensive multi-stakeholder consultation process and is the only comprehensive voluntary sustainability standard initiative for the aluminium value chain. The ASI Performance Standard (2017) defines environmental, social and governance principles and criteria, with the aim to address sustainability issues in the aluminium value chain. It sets out 59 criteria under the three sustainability pillars of Governance, Environment and Social, which address key issues such as biodiversity, Indigenous Peoples rights, and greenhouse gas emissions. ASI launched a revised Performance Standard in 2022.
The independent, third-party audit of the Golden Aluminum plant was carried out by Bureau Veritas Certification.
