This recognition is bestowed upon individuals who have rendered outstanding service of national or international importance. Part of Anne-Marie’s important international service to global sustainability has been her work with the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative, where she chaired the Standards Committee over several years. Her leadership was pivotal in revising and launching the updated Performance and Chain of Custody Standards in 2022, greatly enhancing responsible practices in the aluminium industry. This honour reflects her broader efforts in environmental conservation and sustainable development, notably through her role as President of the Chimbo Foundation.
Anne-Marie’s efforts have not only strengthened ASI’s Standards but also inspired global environmental stewardship. We congratulate her on receiving this prestigious recognition, which is certainly well-deserved and highlights her outstanding contributions to sustainability and conservation.
