The COP 28 climate talks in Dubai (December 2023) ended with a decision by Parties to transition away from “fossil fuels", the first time such a formal outcome has appeared since negotiations began three decades ago. As a standards-setting and certification body for aluminium producing and consuming Entities with a multi-stakeholder approach and, importantly, a broad sustainability perspective, ASI is part of the conversation.

Chongqing Millison Technologies Inc. has achieved ASI Performance Standard V3 (2022) Certification for re-melting, casting and processing of aluminium for the manufacture of aluminium alloy parts at Chongqing Millison Technologies Inc. facilities in Banan District, Chongqing, China.

The process undertaken for the audit represents a commitment to a rigorous and inclusive assurance process following a risk-based approach to ensure the integrity of the audit outcome. The Provisional Certification is valid for the period of one year, during which the company can address the non-conformances assessed and subsequently seek full certification.
